I’m Chloe, the founder of Studio EMBA
If I was to sum myself up, I'd say I'm a pilates loving, horse riding, intensive care nursing, dog mother!
In my teens I made the switch from high impact cardio and HIIT to pilates and yoga and saw the benefits immediately. I discovered my body thrived on low impact, mindful movement and since then as a just turned 30 year old I have consistently practiced both, feeling the positive effects.
Since the age of 21 I’ve been navigating the world of intensive care nursing and have also been a horse rider since my early years. Both of these life choices aren't particularly great for musculo-skeletal health (i’ve had a few falls!) and therefore I credit my pilates practice with keeping me physically and mentally healthy.
In 2021 after working through the challenges of the pandemic in Intensive Care I felt strongly about the importance or prevention of illness and helping as many people as possible achieve optimal health. It was then I decided to complete my pilates teaching certification, training with the renowned STOTT pilates. Since then I have continued to complete training and courses with both STOTT and APPI, two large pilates powerhouses.
I’m now trained in matwork, reformer, osteoporosis, pre and post natal, barre and am currently pursuing a full women's health certification.
I LOVE TEACHING. Seeing my clients progress week on week and feel the love for pilates that I do is the best feeling. Now my aim is to keep my clients progressing whilst bringing pilates and yoga to a wider audience so others can reap its benefits too.

Danni
Pilates / Reformer
Hello I’m Danni - originally from Cornwall, which meant that I had a very active childhood. Imagine everything from swimming in the sea, mountain biking, dancing, to going to the gym and circuit training. Pilates was first introduced to me by my mum - we would regularly attend classes together in my teenage years. I quickly understood the importance of having a well-balanced exercise programme.
I moved to London in my early 20s to study Physiotherapy and loved city living. Around this time I realised that I wanted to assist others in their fitness and wellbeing journey so I became a qualified Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer and subsequently Pilates instructor. I loved teaching all different types of exercise.
A few years ago I moved to Redhill and have since become a mum to a beautiful boy. Personally I have seen the importance of Pilates in pregnancy and post-natally, it became invaluable to my recovery physically and emotionally.
I am not your typical classical Pilates instructor. I like to blend all styles of exercise into my classes which enables me to tailor to the group that are in front of me. Being a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist means that I am well equipped to make modifications as needed for individuals too.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat and reformer very soon!

Sally
Yoga
I have been practicing yoga since the age of 22 when I embarked on a journey of self-care to cure migraine. After a BWY foundation course I qualified with Yoga Alliance as a RYT200 and have taken many additional trainings, courses and workshops since.
My style is inclusive, warm and friendly; I will bring you variety, challenge, nurture and support, and offer modifications, adaptations and the use of props and equipment wherever it will help us to access a shape more beneficially.
As well as teaching hatha, vinyasa, and yin yoga, I also hold sound baths and am a doterra advocate, enhancing my classes with the beautiful aroma of essential oils. I like to use gentle background music and soft lighting and will weave yoga philosophy gently into the class where relevant.
It is important to note, yoga is for every body type, you don’t need to be bendy, skinny, or have the latest technical kit. Yoga should be accessible, enjoyed by everyone, no matter your age, shape, illness, injury or anything else. You just need to have the courage to come and an open heart to receive.
I look forward to meeting you. S xx

Pilates / Reformer / Yoga / Barre
Hello I’m Zoe, I’m born and raised in Crawley.
Movement and Mindfulness is medicine to me and sharing all of this with others is my passion and luckily profession!
I started off my career as a professional dancer and has a fabulous 12 year stint living my dream, dancing on tv shows, in West End shows and travelling the world.
I then crossed over into fitness and found my next direction as a yoga teacher which lead me onto my next decade of teachings, continuing to progress, gain more knowledge and wisdom, I am now a 900hr RYT yoga teacher and love to create a safe space that everyone feels empowered to be in whether Yin or Yang I will always take you on a journey so you can escape the day to day.
I then qualified as a level 3 pilates teacher after having my two children and followed that on with the well renowned STOTT Reformer Pilates training. Reformer combines all the elements I love. Simplicity, Stability, Strength, Stretching, with a side serving of sizzle. All accompanied with power, playlists and personality.
I look forward to building community at Emba.

Celine
Pilates / Reformer
Céline’s love of movement developed from an early age, having begun dancing at the age of 3. The decision to integrate Pilates into her regimen was a deeply personal one, driven by the unique challenges and rewards encountered as a dancer. Pilates, with its emphasis on core strength, flexibility, and precision, became the natural evolution of her dance practice; as well as becoming a vital component in maintaining and nurturing her mental well-being, especially after recently embarking on a personal journey to better manage the impact of living with chronic eczema.
Following a successful career in Advertising in London, Céline made a strategic decision to take a break from the Ad world to broaden her knowledge and deepen her understanding of the human body. She returned to her roots in Cape Town to complete her Intensive and Advanced STOTT PILATES Mat and Reformer training under Merrithew Lead Instructor Trainer, Lisa Palmer at The Movement Lab.
Céline is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to assisting others in cultivating functional strength, recovering from injuries, and elevating their spatial body awareness through her vibrant classes and compassionate approach.
She is a dynamic individual who pours her energy into classes, clients and creative choreography. You can expect to feel empowered and inspired in her classes as you mindfully move and groove.

Sarah
Pilates
Hi, my name is Sarah.
I’m a sport loving mum of 4, who regularly plays golf and league netball. When I’m not playing sport or doing Pilates, you’ll find me walking my dogs, watching my boys play football, or my younger daughter horse riding.
I fell in love with Pilates a few years back. Throughout my life, I’ve been plagued with back aches and pains. Pilates was recommended by my Physio, and when I eventually tried it, I fell in love with it! So much so, I decided to learn to teach it, and gained my mat certification with STOTT, in London. My only regret was not taking it up sooner!
Not only does Pilates keep my body strong and aligned for the sport I play, but it’s the perfect combination of strength, mobility and mindfulness. You can’t help but feel great after a session!
I love to teach in a relaxed and inclusive environment, and get great joy from seeing the progression of my students, of all levels and abilities. I’m really looking forward to joining the EMBA community and meeting you all.

Sound Healing
Using my deep connection with music, nature, and my ability to work with subtle energy, I help others find connection to themselves and their community. I hold space to heal from the stresses of modern life.
Feeling personally disconnected from myself in my twenties, I ventured on a spiritual journey of self-discovery through various holistic modalities. I deeply connected with music, just as I had when I was a child. Now, I share my gift with others to help them find meaningful and nurturing connections with their spirit, community, and the world around them through guided meditation journeys and sound rituals.

Yoga
I dabbled in yoga over the years, much like I did with various workouts and activities. However, it wasn't until my friend became a certified yoga teacher that I truly committed to attending her classes regularly. Through consistent practice, I found myself falling deeply in love with yoga and the profound way it affected me both physically and mentally.
As someone who grapples with anxiety and understands the weight of negative thoughts and worries, I approach teaching with a strong emphasis on stress relief. My classes are designed to equip you with practical tools to challenge negative thought patterns. Alongside dynamic sequences that provide a bit of a sweat, I incorporate juicy twists and releasing folds to help rid the body of negative toxins, leaving you feeling energised, refreshed and revitalised.
My practice isn’t about reaching the full expression of every pose, it’s about doing what feels right for my mind and body at that moment in time and carving out that hour just for me. This is what I strive to bring to my classes. I want everyone to feel welcome, no matter where they're at on their yoga journey. I believe yoga can be enjoyed by anyone. Take an hour for yourself and just move, breathe, let go and have fun.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat!

Yoga
I discovered yoga during lockdown and completely fell in love with it. This journey led me to pursue my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, where I found my 'dharma’: our ability to use our gifts and capabilities in service of something bigger, in a way that fulfils the yearning inside of us.
In my classes, you will not only enhance your physical strength and flexibility but also develop greater self-awareness by being however we are in the moment. Together, we will delve into a deeper exploration of ourselves and our connection to the universe. And if that’s not your thing, that’s ok. In my classes, I encourage you to take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t.
Each session is thoughtfully themed and tailored to meet the needs of every individual. Physical poses come with modifications to ensure inclusivity, breathwork prepares the body and mind for practice, and we conclude with time to rest and absorb the benefits of the class. An optional meditation closes the practice, providing a complete and holistic experience.
My classes are a welcoming space for every body, mind, and ability — a non-judgemental zone with no expectations. There is no requirement to be flexible or to show up in any way other than your true self. We will meet you wherever you are. All you need to do is show up, which is often the hardest part!
I look forward to meeting you on this journey of union and self-discovery.
